The Funding Team members are specialists in Accounting, Editing, Education, Grantwriting and Requests for Proposals, Marketing, Strategic Planning, Technology Platform Training, and Nonprofit Start-ups.
We owe our success to our team. Currently our team of eight experts are plenty; but, as community needs increase new members will be added to the team.

As founders of The Funding Team we love our role in the community. We have been blessed to help non-profit organizations and ministries do important community work. Taking care of the under-served of our community is God's work and it is our honor to help organizations be their very best. With over 30 years in community based work - it is still our passion.
Accounting Team
Elsie, Esmeralda, Laura, and CSU Fresno Students
Elsie, Laura and California State University, Fresno (CSU Fresno) interns have been the backbone of our accounting work plans for a number of years. Their work is essential to every project undertaken. Nonprofit decisions can be traced back to "the numbers" and sources of funding impact future decisions. Whether organization budgets, payroll, insurance comps, grant budgets or board reports, the work of this team is never done.
Grantwriting Team
Ashley, Esmeralda, Hannah, Mayra & Shireen
Ashley, Esmeralda, Hannah, Mayra and Shireen make up our wonderful circle of writers, editors, and graphic artists. They work on several projects each week: Touching Veteran Causes, Literacy, Services for the Disabled, Inner-city Youth Services, Fighting Hunger & Poverty Locally & Internationally, Outdoor Adventures for Under-served Mothers and Children, Combating Human-trafficking Locally and Across the Nation, and Championing Performing Arts in Fresno County. This team of creative writers prepare grant proposals for complex applications and a variety of funding initiatives. Together, we have secured millions of dollars over the years for local nonprofits who are providing essential community services.
Service Learning
The Funding Team partners with CSU Fresno to offer students service learning, volunteer, and internship opportunities. The opportunities are provided by other non-profit organizations. Students are trained to work in their area of interest, which can include the following: Accounting, Events, Grant Writing, Development & Marketing, and Recreation Administration. Students have put together non-profit marketing plans and helped coordinate special galas that hosted hundreds of people. We provide students with the skills and resources to be successful in the workforce.
